Durham Conservation Commission

DCC Attendees: Roberta Brezinski, Sam Cuccaro, Jess Costa, Mike Friendly

CRP application • to get letters of support from RRLT and Andro Land trust

• list as partners on application

• work with partners on strategic plan

• establish an open space plan (E4) to implement E2

• use consultant or do ourselves (what are the cons of using a consultant, less funding toward conserving space)

• mike talk to alan with RRLT

• jess talk to FB Environmental for a proposal for an open space plan (example Bridgeton $40K for open space plan)

• equity - youth need access to open space for positive mental health, viewshed and water quality, community engagement in priority populations, agriculture/farmers is a vulnerable population; DCC will talk to the new Agricultural commission; keeping access public
