Durham Conservation Commission

Debrief on December craft fair popup community outreach for open space plan survey

• Rachelle from Durham community school new contact (happy to help with school engagement)

• GPCOG can help with outreach to school, provide contact information

Community Resilience Partnership

• Durham needs to complete and update the Community Resilience Self-Evaluation and the List of Community Actions by mid-January to maintain enrollment in the Community Resilience Partnership and eligibility for grants

• List of community actions from Jessica L.

Next steps for open space plan

• Over 50 people have taken the community survey so far

• Jess to ask Shannon/GPCOG to extend the community survey

• DCC to spread flyers with link to survey (Replenova, Get n’ Go)

• Sam will edit blurb for newsblast to include link to survey and will send to Kimberly

Proposed cluster subdivision letter to planning board

• Quaker meeting house road cluster subdivision

o Addressed concerns with forest clearing and bats

o Need to address concerns potential storm event impacts to wetlands, runoff and erosion

o We assume an HOA would monitor and maintain culverts since won’t be a town road

o Will ask planning board about it at Grey Stone Ridge Cluster subdivision site walk on December 20th

• Greystone Ridge cluster subdivision

o Off 125 near Quaker Meeting House Road

o 13 lots

o A few members from DCC will attend the site walk on December 20th Meeting adjourned at 8:00 pm.
