Durham Conservation Commission

July 15, 2026; 6:30 – 8:00 pm; Eureka Center

DCC Attendees: Jess Costa, Roberta Brezinski, Mike Friendly

1. June meeting notes – no quorum so will vote next meeting

2. July 20th Pinkham Brook solar site walk

• Site plan review: new bridge installed for Pinkham brook crossing

3. Items to discuss with Select Board in 2026

• OSP goal 1, 1.3 creating a town conservation fund (provide examples of other towns and matching funds opportunities)

• Mike Brandimarte’s fish passage presentation

4. GPCOG zoom call at 7pm for an OSP project update

• GPCOG flyers and poster boards (DCC will need to print boards for community event)

• GPCOG expecting draft of OSP by end of 2027 (Shannon C. shared the document outline)

5. Update on Runaround Pond water quality monitoring

• Haven’t heard back from Mike Brandimarte

6. Action items

• Provide watershed map to FBE for existing conditions, shows that Runaround Pond is vulnerable to development run off

• Send other committees the draft strategies and priorities matrix
