The Town of Durham will o cially launch the new text messaging system to the public on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Residents Solid Waste Committee Meeting may receive a text message from 91896 from the Town initiating September 16, 2024 the service. You can choose to opt-out at any time by texting Fire Station STOP. 6:30pm If you don’t receive the initial message, you can choose to opt-in by texting the keyword “durhamalerts” to the number 91896. After Historic District Commission Meetings sending the initial keyword, you will be asked to reply “YES” to September 19, September 26 & con rm opt-in. Residents may receive noti cations for events, October 10 Eureka Community Center emergency alerts, etc. 6:00 pm Durham’s use of this technology is another example of how our community is enhancing resident services by implementing 21st- Select Board Meetings century solutions.
