TranscriptSelectboard Meeting - Correction to Warrant 3-21-23

2023-03-21 · Select Board · 1:31 · back to the summary · watch on YouTube →

This is a machine transcript, not a record of what was said. YouTube's speech recognition produced it. It mishears local names (Royalsborough, Runaround Pond), garbles figures, and drops short words, including the "not" in "the motion does not carry". Use it to find the moment, then click the timestamp and listen. Where the summary and this transcript disagree, the recording settles it.

all right I'm going to call this special meeting of the Durham border selected into order uh on days at March 21st and what a record show that all five members are present and the reason for this meeting is we discovered an error and one of the Articles and the warrant that we approved in our last meeting in article 9 UM there was a typo saying that we were going to appropriate and raise sixty thousand dollars uh for the fire department rapid response vehicle and that it should have been worded as it is here now to see if the town will vote to appropriate and transfer sixty thousand dollars from the fire department Capital reserves fund for the rapid response vehicle and uh both the select board and the budget committee recommend yes including the transfer so it was just a typo on the uh on the war so uh I would entertain a motion to approve the corrected Town warrant as presented so moved so moved by Josh is there a

second second from Todd any discussion by Zero no opposed okay motion passes I would entertain a motion for a German so moved by Josh second second from Joe all in favor we are adjourned thank you very much thanks guys sorry about that snap that's all right not a problem at all well we have to sign this before we go
